This article in US News and World Report shares information on a survey about public confidence in the United States regarding vaccines. According to this survey released Monday by both the American Society for Microbiology and Research America, the percentage of adults who say it’s “very important” to have their children vaccinated was down in May from 2008, 71% vs. 82%. There were other questions asked in the survey to evaluate current perceptions. For example, more adults today believe that other children are put at risk if a child isn’t vaccinated which was an increase since 2008.
