South Australia has seen a more than 40% increase in demand for meningitis B vaccine compared to the same time period last year. Parents are rushing to protect their children from this deadly disease that is vaccine preventable. In the United States there are two existing brands of meningitis B vaccine. The Pfizer brand, Trumenba is available to physician’s offices at a discount through an MPPG membership.
